So CBS News recently followed the Black Keys around for a few days before their North American tour started, and the resulting video is pretty amazing. In it you learn about Pat and Dan’s high school, their first show that earned them a significant amount of money, the guys’ parents, and more. It’s a really great segment and you’ll love it if you’re a genuine fan of the band.

Lucky for me (and for all of you), someone ripped the video and uploaded the entire set earlier today. Enjoy!

So according to the twitter account of Noah Abrams, a photographer who is following the Black Keys around on tour for the time being, a documentary about the Keys and Arctic Monkeys’ current tour will be released next year, when he plans on finishing it. He didn’t give many other details, but I’m sure we’ll see a preview or two in a few months.

Pretty effin’ awesome, right? Does life get any better for Black Keys fans? I’ve already expressed my over-the-top admiration for this tour, and now it’s about to get even better. A documentary about two of my favorite bands, with most likely lots of backstage shenanigans? SO AWESOME.
